“I think that above all, what we’ve always said is, it remains vital that anyone who feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward,” Alison said.

She added, “I obviously support my family and not everything that has been reported is fully accurate. I think we’re waiting to get all the information. Now is the time for listening and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

James Franco Will Attend SAG Awards 2018 Despite Sexual Misconduct Allegations

James Franco will be in attendance at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards this evening, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

There was speculation that perhaps James, 39, would not attend the awards show due to his sexual misconduct allegations. However, his rep told CNN that he will be in attendance.

James is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role category for his work in The Disaster Artist. He won the Golden Globe for his work in the movie.

Scarlett Johansson just called out James this weekend for wearing a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globes.

Scarlett Johansson Calls Out James Franco at Women's March

Scarlett Johansson called out James Franco during her speech at the 2018 Women’s March.

The 33-year-old actress was one of many in attendance at the march on Saturday morning (January 20) in Los Angeles.

During her speech, Scarlett said, “How could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?” Scarlett then paused and said, “I want my pin back, by the way.”

Scarlett‘s rep has confirmed to Just Jared that she was referring to James Franco, who has been accused of sexual misconduct, despite wearing a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globes.

Ashley Judd Says James Franco's Response to Sexual Harassment Allegations was 'Terrific'

Ashley Judd is weighing in on James Franco‘s response to accusations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.

The actress, who was one of the first to accuse Harvey Weinstein and help launch the #MeToo movement, says that James had a “terrific” response.

In a late night interview this week, James said that the accusations he read were “not accurate, but one of the things that I’ve learned is that this is a conversation that obviously needs to be had. There are people, women and others, who have not been a part of this conversation and I truly believe and why I was wearing the pin is that they need to be a part of this conversation and so I support that.”

Ashley opened up to the BBC this week as well.

“I think that what James said is terrific,” she said (via Vulture). “And I think that we’ve all behaved — at a certain level — unconsciously, and done things that were insensitive, inappropriate, without necessarily understanding that they were. I mean we’ve all operated with a certain amount of tone-deafness, and I like the culpability, and we have to have restorative justice. This is about men and women being all together and having a more equitable and just workplace, home life, social spaces.”

James Franco Is 'In A Really Bad Place' Following Sexual Assault Allegations (Report)

James Franco is reportedly not doing well following sexual assault allegations that have recently come out against the actor.

The 39-year-old The Disaster Artist, who skipped the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11), is “in a really bad place” according to a report by People.

“So bad that he changed his phone number,” a source said.

“His close friends are trying to be there for him but it’s been hard – he’s only talking to a select group of people. For now, he’s just hiding out.”

On Wednesday (January 10), James responded to the allegations with Stephen Colbert.

“If I’ve done something wrong, I will fix it. I have to. I don’t know what else to do. As far as the bigger issue of how we do it, I really don’t have the answers. I think the point of this whole thing is that we listen. I’m here to listen and learn and change my perspective where it’s off. I’m completely willing and want to.”

James Franco Responds to Sexual Misconduct Allegations (Video)

Just before an expose was released accusing James Franco of accusations of sexual exploitative behavior, he appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Seth said, “But, one of the things that happened at the Golden Globes—and obviously, this happened in the last couple of days before we had you booked on the show and I’m glad you’re still here—you were wearing a Time’s Up button like a lot of guys at the show and some women during your time on stage said that was hypocritical. They went to Twitter and said that it was hypocritical based on their experiences that they have had with you. They made some allegations. I wonder if you have read those tweets, and if so, how you respond to them?”

“Yes, I was sent a couple of the tweets, so yeah, I did read them,” James added. “I haven’t responded. I think—well the ones I read were not accurate, but one of the things that I’ve learned is that this is a conversation that obviously needs to be had. There are people, women and others, who have not been a part of this conversation and I truly believe and why I was wearing the pin is that they need to be a part of this conversation and so I support that.”

“Like I said, there are stories that need to get out,” James continued. “There are people that need to be heard. I have my own side of this story, but I believe in, you know, these people that have been underrepresented getting their stories out enough that I will, you know, hold back things that I could say just because I believe in it that much. And if I have to take a knock because I’m not going to, you know, try and, you know, actively refute things, then I will, because I believe in it that much.”

James Franco Accused of Sexually Exploitative Behavior By 5 Women

Five women have come forward to accuse James Franco of both “inappropriate” and sexually exploitative” behavior.

The Los Angeles Times published an expose, where four of his students came forward. One of the women said James was her mentor.

Franco began Studio 4, a film school, in Los Angeles and New York back in 2014. One of his students, Hilary Dusome, recalled that he once asked a group of women to take off their tops for a shoot.

“I felt like I was selected for something based on my hard work and my merit, and when I realized it was because I have nice [breasts], it was pretty clear that was not the case,” Hilary said. “I don’t think he started teaching with bad intentions, but he went down a bad path and damaged a lot of people in the process.”

“He just took advantage of our eagerness to work and be a part of something bigger,” another student, Natalie Chmiel, said. “We were all these up-and-coming actors who were so hopeful.”

Another woman, Violet Paley, began a romantic relationship with him. She recalled a moment where he pressured her into performing oral sex while sitting in a car. “I was talking to him, all of a sudden his penis was out. I got really nervous, and I said, ‘Can we do this later?’ He was kind of nudging my head down, and I just didn’t want him to hate me, so I did it,” she said.

A former acting student, Sarah Tither-Kaplan, recalled another time where Franco filmed an orgy scene and none of the women present were wearing clothing. Franco kept removing the plastic guards over their genitals, so that there was no protection between the women.

The report also brought up the time back in 2014 when he tried to get a 17-year-old to come to his hotel room.

Franco just won a 2018 Golden Globe for his work on The Disaster Artist.
